I need to know how far to adjust my bump stops on my pro 5.0
I just had my reverse gear fixed and wanted to make sure my pro 5.o bump stops are adjusted to the right length according to the pro 5.o instructions. i have the bolts backed all the way for now but am hoping someone has the instructions, thanks!

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
With the bolts backed out, put the car into 1st gear, now thread the bolt till it just touches the stick.
Next shift into 2nd gear and repeat.
Now you can lock the nuts down or do what I did and shift into each gear to make sure it doesn't prevent shifting into any of the other gears. Make minor adjustments as necessary using 1/4 turn's only.
Once your happy, lock down the bolts with the jam nut.

Doing the hurst shifters for muncie and top loaders I've always follow their steps, even for the rail shifters in the new tranmissions, and that is,,,,,
Once the bolt touches the shifter housing in both 1st and second gears, those bolts need to be backed off 1/4 turn, then locked down. It allows a very slight amount of wiggle room so there is no mistake that it's popped into gear completely.
