Black- 1999 Mustang GT
I got my gears installed from a Local Machanic, who has worked on both my SRT-4 and Mustang.... He did my 4.10s for 180.

Get quality gear too, cheap gears are just gonna be trouble....
Also get a Bearing kit, and how your rear end re-built.

400 installed with you supplying everyhting needed to install is roughly the rate that I ran into and what is what my shop charges.
Some say that the price is too high but once you figure in the tools needed to do the job, the time it takes to set them up CORRECTLY, and the education needed to get it right is well worth the price!!!

was it madatory for the new carriar and new posi, im asking casue i have 323's and thats next on the list

Almost all 98-02 Fbody's came with a 3 series carrier which supported the 3.23 on to 4.10, maybe more. Most of the 93-97 fbody's that I have seen also have the 3 series carrier but I have seen 1 or 2 2 series carriers in the
93's. The 2 series carrier supports the 3.08 and lower ratio's.
Most people get a different carrier like a limited slip(Eaton, Auburn, etc) for traction issues. You don't have to get a new carrier but you'll save money in the long run doing it all at once if your wanting better performance!

I didn't exactly understand your last post but if you mean how much for install of the carrier with the gears there should be no price difference b/c you have to remove the carrier to install the gears. So if you supplied the install kit, gears, fluid, and carrier the only $$$ the shop should charge is install labor. Hope this helps!
