I just did a few heat cycles, not sure i put 500 miles on them since i hardly drive it. Ive only done about 4 hard accels with mine and seems to be holding up well for now, lol. I might go in about a month and get the oil changed just in case and then then can inspect it see if its broken in properly.

any gears ive ever had in any vehicle i just drive it like i normally would. i never once had an issue with any of my gears.
some say install gears and put car in the air and let the gears run for 25 minutes. personally id rather have normal driving since that is what theyll see. if you encounter a launch so be it.
they are going to break reguardless of how you break them in. whats meant to fail will always fail

500 miles and changed the fluid is what I have done. The place that did it also inspected everything to make sure it was still good. No hard launches either.

Let it run on jackstands for a few minutes just to make sure nothing is really wrong. Then let it down and you can do one of two things: do the 500 mile thing or lay 100 feet or so of rubber. I've never had a problem either way, like QUIK said, if it's gonna break, you'll know. Just like an engine, some guys take a conservitive route, some say it's best to break it in how it's gonna be run.

also there is no reason to waste almost 100 dollars in fluid just cause you installed new gears. they are hardend metal. they dont wear like soft metal does. if you have metal and etc in your rear after you installed the gears you messed up the install.
