General Transmission ?s

I am having a slight issue, I had my transmission rebuilt in August of last year, and I have noticed that when I hit around 3000 RPMs on the highway, I get a vibration that feels like its coming from the transmission... could it be the tranny mount(ive had it replaced with a polygraphite one about a year ago) or the driveshaft?

Could be your driveshaft out of balance.

did this just start or has it been there since the poly mount? Poly mounts will transfer a lot more vibration into the car. It could be a whole list of things. Mount, driveshaft, u-joints, rear, and several other things.

It started recently, about a month ago It feels like when I broke the mount on my old car... Under hard acceleration i can feel the tranny pushing against the floorboard. It's not serious I dont think, have had the same problem with the three other F bodies I have owned in the past in varying degrees

Well it turns out it was my tranny going out... lost third gear in traffic today... time for another rebuild
