gears

My gears are making noise so i am about to swap them out. I have 373's right now, but i am wondering what gears will give me the best 1/4, 1/8 mile, times with my mods(mods in sig)? some people tell me that my car might do better on 323's or 342's? i was thinking about 410's, would they help my times?

I had 3.42 , 2.73 , then 4.10 take off is great a4 stall on a stock 98 LS1

3.73's no question in a 10-bolt for an all-around car. I have Moser 3.70's in my 9" and they are perfect IMO.

I just ran it the other day 13.05 at 104 never ran it with other gears in the 1/4 but in 1/8 it ran before 8.80 8.60 last 8.29 about 84 mph

was this with the 410's? what did you have in it before and what was your mph? when i put my 3.73's in i picked up .4 in the 1/8, but people are telling me now that i have a cam and stall that i might run better with 342's or 323's

I ran it before with 3.42s in 1/8 was 8.80 84 mph 4.10s 8.29 82 mph and 13.05 104 mph 1/4
