Do gears had hp/trq?
I went from 3.23 to 3.89 in a new complete moser 9" with a new tune. Did this add any more hp or torque for me? And if so how much? Won't be going to the dyno for a few months.

wouldn't you be able to feel a difference in torque?

no they do not, in fact you will actually lose a little HP (on a dyno) since it takes more power to turn the driveshaft 3.89 times versus turning them 3.23 for one revolution of the wheels...
what gears do, do for you is put your cars enigine more in the powerband to keep the power that you do have down better to the pavement, thus the feeling of more HP/TQ but that's not the case...
since you are going with a beefier rear end you will lose some HP/TQ as well since you have added more weight and rotation mass to your drivetrain as well...
