cost worth it?
So I know my auto tranny on my 98 SS is probably gonna puke out on me in the near future. I know that everyone is going to say to just sell my car and buy a m6 car instead of doing a swap, but I want to weigh all my options. I would rather shell out the cash to have someone do the swap for me and not including the cost of transmission what would I be looking at cost wise roughly (labor, parts, etc..)? Just thought the best time to even consider the swap would be when my auto goes and I would be spending money on a new tranny anyways.

Labor estimate is a tough one. There isn't really a standard labor time for changing a transmission from auto to manual along with all the other "little" things. Finding someone to do it might also be a challenge.
