clutch packs sticking?

so...ive got a stock 2002 trans-am ive had the car for about 6 years and have had the transmision rebuilt once 4 years ago and put new axel shafts and rear wheel bearings in it about 2 years ago...now its starting to give me more problems...

what its doing
running in a straight line i have no problems and it makes no sounds no matter what speed im going...but when i make a turn (the tighter the turn the worse it is) its more of a clunking sound than a grinding and it feels like the inside tire is jumping like it would running over say a rumble strip and if its a hard say 10mph turn you can hear the inside tire squeal everynow and then like its not turning like it should...could this be the clutch packs in the lsd sticking and if so how hard is it to fix

yes the problem sounds like its in the rear end. But the stock diff for 2002 is the Torsen posi. It doesn't have clutches. Its a gear driven posi. If its going bad, there isn't much you can do but replace the posi itself. But you could try a fluid change and add a bottle of LSD additive in there.
