i have a 02 ss M6. and for about the past 2 months every time i stomp on it the shifter pops up about 4 inches. i've never seen this before. is it my cross member or could it be a broken torque arm? thanks

You need to get the car up in the air and see what's going on to be sure. Sounds like the dealer is looking up something different - transmission mount is GM PN 22174970 if I'm not mistaken.
