Best Short Stick?

So whats the best short stick? Ive heard a lot about Lou's Short Stick from Afterthoughts but what about other ones that ive seen around for half that price? What makes the Lou's better?

I have the ws6store 6" short shifter, and so far it works really well. Definately shortens throws and makes it easier to hit 3rd on a hard/ fast shift. Mine loosened up on me after about 3-4 days, but I just re-tightened it and it's been good since.

Are you gonna get the whole shifter w/plate or just the handle? I got the ws6store one just because it was $24.00 shipped, and my friend has it, so figured it was just a good deal. I like it so far.

I was thinking about getting the whole shifter and short stick but ive been thinking and i might get a prokit and just the short stick instead of the whole 5.0 shifter.

the pro 5.0 is kick ass i have it in my ta and love it you dont need to get a aftermarket stick with it i got the ws6 store combo and put the 5.0 stick bake on for comfoert. easy install it gets a littal nosie at times so exspect that but its a good way to go.

I have the WS6 short stick.

I like it overall, you just have to get used to not having an angled shifter, which makes it feel kind of strange at first because the position of the gears is all different. You just have to get used to it though, then its fine.

I agree, and you definately have to throw a little bit harder (or more firmly) because there's no big ass weight on the bottom of the handle. I like it though, and again, it was inexpensive...

Just bought a WS6 store handle to go on my Pro 5.0. I'll keep you posted. Love the Pro 5.0 but wanted a little shorter handle.

I got the Hurst shifter, and have no complaints at all from it, it has a great feel and great look with the white ball shifter

They are about 6" long. I would buy the ws6 stores version like I did, Same size 1/2 the price.

If your heart is set on a lous, afterthoughts auto has them.
