BAD sounds, need help

Ok, here is what I got. 98 Z28, M6, 30K babied, no slicks, no dounts. Making turns there is no rear end noise or chatter. Driving down the road when I engage and dis engage the clutch there is a horrible sound that clunks throughout the entire car. Any ideas?

Agreed. The tranny mount is probably broken in half. Mine did the same thing when it broke, trans clunked all over the place on shifts. It also had a lot of up and down movement whenever there was a load on it.

Get a new mount asap, go with a polyurethane one of you can, they are best. If you let it go, you can damage the U-joints, rear pinion seal/bearings, and the torque arm mount as well.
