Red face 98 Camaro Dilemma .... to T56 or not to T56..

I own 2 z28s , one 66k miles M6 hardtop ,cammed with supporting mods very healthy powerplant hptuners ,but on cheap paint job. , the only problem with this t56 is when dowshifting from 4th to 3rd fast , sometimes grinds ... i think blocker rings are worn plus bad assembly , I put new flywheel pressure plate, clutch, slave and master cyl and a basic rebuilt from the gear box site.

in the other hand i have another 98 z28 A4 with 75k miles, bone stock ,never cammed, sprayed .. not even exhaust!! 4l60e shifting smooth it has ttops, nice paint ,interior.

Im planing to keep only one car now ,have to... and i think the hardtop has to go.

goals are 400-450 hp , streetable car

    the question is..

should I , keep the 4l60e on my car? cant afford to buy a high perf transmission and i know I WILL burn it any time soon

    OR

do the t56 swap with my not so perfect manual trans?

i can switch any part between them.. i mean PCM , harnes, etc etc

    what should I do???

    excuse my not english ...

How do you plan to afford to build a 400 to 450 hp car if you can't afford a better transmission?

If it were me, I'd leave things well enough alone. I can't see going through all the work of a swap, and not fixing the m6 while it's out. That's just me though.

because I have most of the engine parts to do it... some friends sold me other stuff.. trades etc etc...

and because shipping a transmission to my country will double it cost.. last month a friend of mine brought a monster ss aod transmission for a mustang and he wasnt expecting to pay that much,...

Either way, you will more than likely end up with tranny problems. The m6 is already having problems, and adding power will more than likely quicken it's failure. The 4l60e won't like the added power either. Unfortunately, it costs to build a car that can handle the power. I would suggest saving to build the tranny, and then adding the power. Enjoy the car.
