6mt Reverse won't engage
I'm about to buy a 98 Z28 6 speed (t56 I think) for a really good deal because reverse won't engage. Does anyone know any possible problems? I searched but didn't really find any "common" problems...
I am gonna go look at the car on Monday so if there are any diagnostic checks I can perform to get an idea of what I'm looking at to repair I'd appreciate it!

its prolly a synchro, but thats just a guess

More then likely a Synchronizer.
When they break they usually hold the transmission in a gear or make it very difficult to get into a gear. If its a great deal, Buy it, yank the tranny... sell it for xxx... then buy a level 5 for 2500. Thats if its that good of a deal.
