68' F-Body ProTour Driveline Setup, Help?

Hey guys im in the process of restoring my 68 Pro Touring Camaro and I was wondering if you guys had some input for me, I will list some of the stuff I have for my car already...

1.Fatman Subframe with 2" drop spindels, Coil Over w/12" Disc.
2.Rear Multi Leaf with Shocks 2" drop aswell.
3.LS1 from a 96 Vette I need to rebuild and it came with a 5L60E which also needs rebuilt, Engine is gonna get beefed up.
4. I was thinking of a 9" Rear or if you have any ideas of a 12bolt with a gearing setup let me know.
5. I also was gonna do "10 Wheels on 12" Tires w/18" Rims dont know if that makes a difference.

im pretty sure the ls1 came out in 97.. but i could be wrong...

anyway how much hp you wanting to lay down? If its not that much I would stick with the 12 bolt. 3.73s for street or 4.10s for racing. Plus I would throw a stall converter in it.

I would like to try and get 450-500hp from engine, and I think you may be right about the year cause my dad bought the engine 3 years ago for one of his projects and then scrapped it and gave me the engine/tranny. Also where is the Serial# located on the engine so I can run a check?
