3 channel abs to 4 channel abs

    Hey Guys,

    I have a 00 z28 with a 3 chanel abs set up. I have a line on a low mileage
4 chanel abs rear axle set up. Is it possible to install this in my car and still retain the factory abs option?

I realize the factory 4 chanel abs option was for cars equipped with traction control which my car does not have it. I am wondering if the pcm could be calibrated to work off of one of the rear wheel speed sensors or could you in some way modify the housing to accept the single channel set up?

    Thanks for your input,

    Doug

Don't know if it's possible? My advice is to find another 3 channel and go with that. Put a complete LS1 M6 3.42 rear in mine, both 3 channel - plug and play.

no. there is a different reluctor ring in your diff on the 3 channel rather on the axle ...the sensor counts speed differently, it will not work, unless your drill a hole in the 4 channel diff and tap a thread for the sensor, more trouble than its worth, if you want to upgrade get a 12 bolt OR rebuild yours
