3.73 gear question
I seen the other thread, the guy is askin the cheapest way to get the gears, and I know its from summit, but I dont know if the one shown on that thread will work for mine, since im stock rear end, im not sure what phase gears I need, can someone help me out please, and thank you.

ok if you order from summit, the part number for 3.73 gears is RMG-4900071. this is the 3.73 gear set from richmand for 3.08 and lower carrier. since you have 2.73?? gears in stock you need the smaller carrier gears. make sure you break in the gears right. the guy who installed mine didnt break in right and they make noise now, but he said richmand gears make noise. whether that is true or not im not sure.

get the install kit too. part number RMG-8310441 from summit.

honestly you're better off saving up for a 12 bolt... stock 7.5" 10 bolt rears are know for grenading... Originally Posted by Justin23454

If you have a 2.XX gear and are looking at the Summit gear the SUM-741012 would be the right gear set. One of the following install kits will also work.
