    2000 Z

    2002 z28 auto

    when starting the car in park if brake is not applied the car will hop into reverse and start going backwards. been told to check the shifter cable.. anyother ideas? thanks

    The shifter cable is adjustable at the tranny, but if that doesn't do it, might need a tranny shop to look at it... Maybe you ran over an armadilla, and it bent you cable bracket !!!
