    tire size for 2.5" lift

    My '14 Silverado has 18" off road wheels right now, and I want to buy a 2.5-inch lift kit. Just not sure on the largest tire size I can go without rubbing. Maybe 295 or 285? Any inputs? Thanks in advance!

    2011 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd

    my 2011 i have a level kit on the front
    1 1/4 body lift kit on my truck
    I have 17" x 9" wheels with 5" back space, stock wheel is 17" x 7.5" w/5.5" back space so my wheels and tires stick out from the side of my truck 1.25" wore than stock
    my tires are 285/70-17 BFG's T/A's and i have no rubbing problems
