Silverado In-line fuel filter
I have an 05 2500 Silverado and know that the fuel filter is an in-line one, meaning you can't pull it to change it. I believe GM went to this starting in 05 for safety reasons(and I'm sure for financial gain too).
Has anyone had theirs changed out and what did it cost you?
Thanks,
Pete

Black- 2007 Silverado
its not an inline filter...it's a little sock on the bottom of the fuel pump and "supposedly" good for the life of the pump...i'm pretty sure you have to change the pump to change the sock...

I had got an HAGF111 Hastings Fuel Filter. Fit Info: 8.1L, V8, GAS, FI, VIN "G" for my Silverado 2500 HD, 3/4 Ton. And its working really well.. may be you should give that a try.
