    4.8.

it was the best what i could find locally. i would like the 5.3, but no need for the extra power, so i wasnt devistated that it had the 4.8. still has 285hp compared to like 240 in my 98 silverado with a 5.0

the doors make it nice when cleaning it out.

+1^^^ That is my favorite color for these trucks, awesome wheels too, nice pick Orion. Here's my trusty 01' Sierra. Also a 4.8L, Cherrybomb extreme kit just came in yesterday, not able to install till next month when I get home so I'll be looking around for a cold air kit and that will be all the mods this truck will see, unless I come across a nice set of wheels.

Well darn, I just sold my truck not long ago. But I'll still post it up anyways. It was a 1985 K20, 14" of lift sitting on 40's. 4.88 gears, rebuilt 350cid w/ 3500 miles and a th350, long tube headers w/ true duals and flowmasters, Holley intake mani and a Demon Carb. It would move right along pretty quick for such a big truck lol. Would crawl anywhere, ESPECIALLY in 4low

    2002 Camaro SS LE

here's my truck that i traded in on a 2002 Camaro SS LE in June of this year (2010). its a reg. cab V6, 2wd, lowered 3/6 with belltech springs and a DJM flipkit. also, had a Custom Classic stamped steel rollpan and a set of Granite Alloy 22" chrome wheels.

also, some may notice, no radio antenna. i got a cowl cover panel from a caddy escallade (sp?) and relocated it to inside the fender wheel. also, regrounded it back to the orginal base, and lost no reception.

    with stock chrome 17's.

    Thanks.
It took all of about 2.5 hours, maybe 3 to do the whole kit. That includes getting out the jack, jackstands and tools, and putting that all away when done. I did use air tools, but they're not absolutely needed, if you don't have them...or access to them.

The Rough Country "FULL" leveling kit is what I bought ($189) and includes the lift keys, new taller blocks for the rear, new u-bolts, and 4 new Rough Country shocks. It's an excellent deal for someone wanting a mild lift, like I did.

The only "odd" tool needed was a torsion bar tool, which basically just takes the pressure off of the torsion bar so you can remove the bolts, and then remove the torsion bars enough to replace the keys.

Truck still has a very decent ride, yet definitely looks higher than stock. Very cost effective mod IMO...especially if you need shocks like I did anyway.

    Go for it!

p.s. Pic 2 and 3 both show 33's on the truck, as opposed to stock height tires, which are 31".
