oil pan gasket replace
Has anyone done this on a truck with 5.3 2000
can it be done without a lot of disassembly mainly jacking motor up or removal of crossmember

If my memory serves me correctly, if it's a 4x4 you have to remove the front diff. and the cross member, and then unbolt a couple trans bolts. This should be able to all be done from under the vehicle, and without jacking up the engine. You also have to drill out the orginal pan gasket rivets if it already hasn't been done.

konig is right . if its a 2wd then yeah its gravy but if its 4x4 it's a little more labor intensive.
