99 dually

I got a 99 dually with a 454 i was wondering does anyone have some bright ideas on what mods to run on this truck i would lime to try some bolt ons first of course

They don't make a whole lot of bolton mods for those trucks besides exhaust and maybe a cold air im not not for sure you can tune those so easily i think it would be looking into look at boat stuff they made those same style boat motors in 425 hp for a long time might be some fuel injection stuff there.

haha there ya go! Whipple made a pretty nice kit for the 454 vortec

Whipple doesnt make them anymore lol no.one does thats the problem i cant find a whipple or vortec to save me life

yep it will be great to pull the enclosed trailer to the track with huh they say 55 60% more horse power i wonder how much stock that 454 puts out hhhmmmmm even it was 280 @ 55% puts it at 434 rearwheel and @ 60% 448 rear wheel horse power that pretty nice for under 3,000 bucks ill post pic when i get it done

There is no replacement for displacement unless it has a procharger on it!!!

well just a update .... 3,000 bucks is a thing of the past 5,800 for a supercharger no way .... way to much money for that set up .... so now i am going with a 24 valve cummings in the chevy dually going diesel i guess for the price of a supercharger i can can diesel and running with 600 hp so ill keep you updated on the swap out ....

I have almost 2X that into my Procharger set-up just in parts alone. Of course I spent a little extra on a FMIC, fabricated piping, methanol injection, and gauges. The kit was the same price for mine, but overall it doesn't include nearly everything you need. Not sure if injectors and fuel pump were included in your price either, but that was also extra.

It is gonna be cheaper to run a cummings in it then about 3, 000 for the motor and 3, 200 fot the kit which runs all the chevy stuff like computer tranny. Gauges and motor mounts.. I can put down 450 hp and about 600-650 ft lbs of torque
