    93 Suburban TPI

I have a 350 outta my 91 camaro that i would really like to see in my suburban. my problem is i have a 4L60e in there and lost the computer and wire harness to the TPI engine. Ive heard of using both computers with jumpers so i can run my 4l60e. why couldnt i just add the extra injector plugs to the TBI setup? The only reason I would see a problem is in the MAP sensor giving a different vaccum reading. Couldnt i just change the output of that with some resistors or something? And id have to change the fuel pump. I do have an extra 700R4 w/ 5000 miles that i rebuilt a couple years back but that still leaves me w/o a computer and harness.

Since your in San Antonio I'd call Fuel Injection Specialties 210-654-0774 and see what they recommend. It's going to be somewhat tough using the 93 truck harness but you can make it work with alot of effort and pain.............if you haven't messed with wiring harnesses.

Cool thanks for the number. My brother had total injection rebuild his harness for a lt1 caprice to 3rd gen firebird and he didnt mark any of the wires, he didnt install the wire plug that goes under the dash and then he was supposed to burn the vats off the computer and didnt do that either. he charged my brother a little over 300. We called Dennis ( the guy that own total injection) and he said that he would charge my brother again to do it again. But im sure theres some legit shops out there that would treat people right. I did all the harness work on my LT1 but it was alot of work and time chasing wire by wire. But its worth it to reap the benifits of better gas mileage and more power
