    87 Silverado To Carb

I am new to this forum so first off i want to say hello to everyone! My question is i have an 87 Silverado with tbi intake engine i want to upgrade to a carbed engine for more hp. I know that the pick up in the fuel tank will have to be replaced eliminating the in tank pump with one to work off the manual pump on the engine other than this what other mods do i need to make? I`ve been told that the distributor may need to be swapped to a carbed one and some tell me that the overdrive trans wont shift properly if i mess with the eletronics but i need same true hard facts ideas and solutions and figured you guys might be able to point me in the right directions. Any help greatly appreciated.

why do you think carb is an upgrade. you can get better intakes and better throttle bodies for those trucks and cams and heads. you can do whatever to them and leave them fuel injected
