I'd bet 12-13 city and 15-16 mpg hwy.

To be honest I wouldn't look for more than 17 on the hwy unless you had it tuned right.

I'd say depending on your right foot, 13-15 and 18-20.

does the gear set play into affect with these newer trucks? reason being in my '99 z71 it came with a 4.10 gear set but at 55-60 it only turns at about 1600 rpm's. on my '91 i used to have with 4.10's it used to turn about 2200 rpm's at 55-60, does this have to do with the tranny?

btw, thats one creepy avatar you have. hehe lol

LOL on the avatar...................Yeah, my decision would be based on 4.10 gears. You would do better with 3.73's on the regular cab. Your rpm's depend on your tire size so take that into concideration. I'm running 4.10's, 3200 stall with 25.6" tall tires on my truck so you can imagine the RPM's I turn at 90 mph. Thank god for overdrive! I'm thinking about taking the 4.10's out of my truck once I get the Magnacharger installed just so I won't be so squirrelly off the line and gain some top end.

all 2500 hds came with 410 gears i would say 10-14 373s are factory gears for duramaxs

I went from 3.55 gears to a 2.73 ratio in my F-150 ext/cab . Mileage went from 15 to 17 MPG average city & hwy . But the damn thing doesn't want to shift into overdrive until I completely let off the accelerator . And then if you barely touch the gas pedal it downshifts into third gear . Frustrating as hell .

Sounds like you need to retune for the gearing and also change your shift speed. You'd be suprised how much difference a gear change will make to your tune based on speed and rpm.
