2009 ls1 chevy colorado

Has anyone driven the new 2009 Chevy Colorado with the 295HP small block V8 ? Need pricing & performance stats.

There are three Engine choices and depending on options as does the price.
2.9 I4 185Hp and 190 Tq
3.7 I5 242hp and 242 Tq
5.3 v8 300Hp and 320 Tq
havent personaly driven one yet but drove an 08 with the I5, handled pretty good and had some pep.

I purchased a 2009 GMC Canyon (off road) 2WD - quad cab, back in early sept, Has the 3.7 I5 & can honestly say i really enjoy the truck, ,Has lots of get up & go. Unless you require the V8 for horsepower, speed or hauling --the I5 does a great job, Fuel mileage if driven reasonable is excellent!! Mid to upper 20"s !!
Painy colour is the Atomic orange metallic & boy on sunny days this colour is extremely eye catching!! A quick coat of Top Shelve "Final Detail Spray Wax" after every 2nd wash & this thing jumps at you!!!

i cant get over the fact not all newer z71s are 4wd. It doesnt seem right to be able to get a 2wd z71

here in Ontario, Canada they call them "Off Road " which has that label on the rear fenders. Has the Traction control which is nice. The 4 wheels drive pkg, as an option here was $3800 & to be honest if this particular Canyon Or a Colorado did NOT have the off road suspension available in the 2 wheel drive -i Never would have purchased this truck!! A 4 wheel drive was too expensive, I think as a regular suspension truck they are Butt Ugly!!

I ordered a 2009 Colorado Sport 5.3 litre 300 HP auto4 with 3.42 rear. supposed to come in in March, will send reviews then.

should be a fast little truck, the dodge Dakota is available with a 300+ hp 4.7 L v8
