So my unit is fixed, but I don't know why my unit us fixed.
blew parts I replaced, then replaced one more time. And plugged one thing at a time to determine what was blowing my part and nothing blows. Unit is working properly. Ventilators suck. they rarely go bad, but when they do they are whores

If you're curious to know, it's not his responsibility to look back and see wtf you want. I'm suggesting that if you want an answer, you should use the PM's, ppl don't excercise this option enough.

Its basically a total engine rebuild if you do it right. Block might have to be machined for the new bore if you will have larger/new pistons, valve clearance MIGHT become an issue depending on the stroke of the kit and the length of the rods, etc. Im honestly not all that familiar with the internals of an LS1 but I know in standard old school GM engine blocks a stroker kit would generally mean refreshing every mechanical part in the long block assembly. Springs, push rods, all bearings etc, unless they are fairly new. Not always required, but not bad practice either.

my quote up there is the specs i got off the site... and IF i do this RPM will be doing it at the same time as matching heads/cam so all that stuff would be refreshed anyways... basically everythingexcept stock block and oil pan will be replaced

Since money doesn't seem to be an issue, sell the ls1 and throw a 402 in there.

i dont really want a 402... they are great and all but... idk... i gotta price some stuff... i wanna go a route not that common... plus money is a small issue... just will take longer to save up... id still rather save money if i can
i think i have heard curtis say his 402 cost like 5-6 grand... thats not what im wanting to spend
