The better flow there explains your gains with the 90/90 I assume. Ive been told that the 90/90 swap on an otherwise stock engine wont do much for you?

this is true. until you step up to H/C you wont see my kind of gains. however, if you choose to lay the ground work out early and go with a FAST, even as it might be overkill, it still doesnt hurt. most people say layoff until you get those mods, then go FAST and i agree. but going from the Ls1 intake to the Ls6 and being disappointed with it, i personally should have gone the FAST route the 1st time and be done with it. it's really upto the owner what they wish to do.

ok what do yall think about this...
my friend has a white z 28 with ss hood... nice rims, etc... its pretty much screwed... and its at my friends dealership about to be diag'ed... they said if its transmission they can swape a t56 in there and sell it to me really cheap... is that worth it having a non original t-56 car?

IMO, no. way to many components needed in swapping an A4 over to a M6. just buy one that came w/a 6spd and save yourself the grief...

i could be totally wrong but as long as the clutch master cylinder is drilled perfect i hear its ok - did a t-56 swap into a third gen i used to have and it worked good for a while - after i sold it i heard he started having problems

Depends on what you want to do with it in my opinion. My current car is more or less a cream puff. Its paid for, low miles, and slightly modded and all that, but im not real interested in thrashing it every weekend or everytime I take it out. Although the most fun I personally can have is going out and thrashing a hot car....so if I had one that say, wasnt all original and clean and low miles....I could have alot more fun

i would have one like that but it was sold before i got to it - 98ish silver Z - a4 - 3.73s - cloth, manual windows/locks - bolt-ons - looked nice but was made to be a race car - bare bones - but im glad i missed it - im a impulse buyer - i found, looked at, and had papers signed within a day and a half lol
