Im hoping for this month to be better then the last... Yesterday (30th) wmy convoy gt hit by and IED consisting of 600-700 pounds of explosives. If everyone could say a quick prayer for my old room mate Mendes for a full recovery. He severly broke vertebrates in his neck and the docs believe he will be paralyzed from the neck down.

i feel worse for soldiers that suffer paralyzing injuries than those that die.....its a shame that he may never walk again....do tell him we greatly appreciate what he has done for our country...and a thank you to you as well.
