I say you just go with a ported blower off a GTP like you have shown above. ZZP has done amazing things with a SC'd 3.8. Seems like it would just be easier with a RWD base

Doesn't your tubing diameter need to be larger in diameter after the turbo outputs merge to go into the intercooler? Or, by keeping the diameter the same, does this create an increase in pressure that is part of the plan?
Those diagrams are mostly design ideas, but the output on my twins is in the 2.25in range and the inlet on the intercooler is 2.5in. I will need to come up in size to meet the TB for sure though. The final piping will most likely be similar to the diagram but not exactly the same. It's more for routing layout than for function if that makes sense.. All the piping came in 2.5in dia, and I'll be fabbing up to @ least a 3in. TB. or larger..

I hear ya I'm not sure where I'm gonna go with it yet, but it's definetly looking like some sort of blower will be the plan.. Still mostly researching for now thanks for the input though..

Understood. Keep up the pics in your build thread as you go -- I really enjoy seeing what you are doing. Quite the project!

A mild 3.8 w/ ported heads, cam, blower, and supporting mods should be able to put you in the 11's fairly easy. I've helped build a GTP with the above and it was HELL on a set of MT Drag Radials. A decent stall converter (not sure if you're an auto or not) and the blower LOVED it. Not to mention a 3.8 with worked/milled heads and the right cam sounds like a nasty lil bastard.

The build on both the maro and Z34 looks like they are gonna be killer cars.

    Will do Jeff!

Sounds awesome Will, but I don't drag race, and prolly would go with mild boost. Definetly thinking forged internals and a nice set of heads though..
Just gotta finish my other project before I dig into a blown project.

Thanks hopefully! Prolly few more weeks or so I'll get her in line for her first fire up since I started the project in the z34. The camera will be rolling for it all. Even if it takes a giant shit Trying to cover all my bases from the ground up so I don't have to pull thousands of dollars of motor right back out/apart.. I mean everything from nose to tail every inch of the z34 is under scrutany for the project because there's nothing much out there to go on out there most folks just give up on the TDC.. I tend to start with just a shell leaving no bolt or spot weld unexamined, prolly a little anal but when it hits the road it will be safe to race or wreck..

It will be more rare than it is already. That I like. To hell with the folks who look down on rare cars.

Mostly I get the "wrong wheel drive", and "it's only a v6" stuff..
But she's in excellent condition for her age @ nearly 18 years old here she is..

Strait, never wrecked, and not a spot of rust, the interior has zero damage aswell..

That car is MINT. I have seen Zs on the roads in HORRIBLE shape. Missing bodykit pieces, rotted body panels. I don't get it. I got sh1t for keeping my GTZ roadworthy and clean. I like keeping what I have in great shape.

Blower, and a CAI setup I can see in it's future.

I wonder how this setup would work?
