    If tep completely disassembled the TB, then more than likely she did not push the pintle all the way back in the IAC causing the high idle. Then she has to drive the car for I think 2 mins at 40mph for the computer to relearn. Time consuming, yes, but it has to be done.

    Her drive home would've reset it.
    I've swapped IACs many a time without pushing the pintle in on LSxs never an issue

    I did not read all about tep and her IAC. However, on Fords at least they stick with carbon and dont hold and idle. Pull the fucker off, spray the shit out of it with brake clean, carb clean, moonshine, whatever... and then put it back on with a new gasket. Should work fine. If it doesnt, replace it. Then it will run fine.

    Ours on the formy was oily. New one fixed the idle
