    No, the question is whether or not you damaged the copper washers by over tightening. Or you damaged the bleeder threads from over tightening. Just a thought. Hopefully it's just the copper washers.

    hmmm...interesting, b/c joel mentioned they can be "too tight" Do new bleeders come with the O rings?

    as long as the threads on teh caliper are ok he can replace the bleeder valve no problem... i snapped the top of of my bleeder when i "Spazed" and had to ge ta new one...

    one caliper is was able to thread the bleeder valve bolt and pull it out... the other one i "Spazed" again and got the largest drill bit i could find and drilled a golf ball size hole in to my brake caliper... that "Spaz" cost me $75.00...
