    Nope....i went to the trakc and made them worse. I should have waited until my new shift handle came in because one of my nuts on it came completely off!! I couldnt shift into 4th at all and eventually the nut lodged in between the shifter and the plate and i couldnt shift into 2nd, 4th, and 6th. But i got 2 passes in where i shifted into 4th but it took me about 1/2 a second to get it in and i ran 2-12.7s@109/111. I think combined with the slow shift to 4th and the heat is why my trap was down so bad. And to top that off my clutch is slipping really bad in 1st so i couldnt get my 60s down but to 1.8s. But i knew the stock clutch wouldnt last long on the track. All in al i should have waited until my car was right and it wasnt so damn hot

    I've never heard so much trouble from a shifter. You guys and your powerful manual transmissions. I try to tell you guys, at the track is what seperated the boys from the men. Well that and TAP too.

    I have both a T56 and 4L60

    I know better then to SLAM through gears though. My new clutch can hang but the shift forks in T56 are known for being a little on the weak side...... I never broke my shifter though and it's a stock 1988 Formula shifter.... I did however break my grant steering wheel's horn button

    Oh it should be in today....by the time i go to the trakc again ill be having some rolled fenders and 275/50-15s on the back.....and then ill be breaking some half shafts..

    Manuals have always been feast or famine. With todays computer controlled autos... it's the best way to go, imo.

    You jersey peeps like to lay into the horn.

    yea the 3-4 fork isnt the strongest but it has more to do with the shifter's gate..to much play and over stresses the forks
