    lol, right now it isnt worth the metal its made of, Im actually thanking my lucky stars, when i broke the 10 bolt, i thought it was the gear, but turns out the axle snapped, dunno how my wheel didnt fall off and finish the pass without me.....

    Yeah, a can't stand buying shit tools.. I've broken WAY too many of them in the past.. I try to only buy craftsman now...

    I would like to get a 12 bolt. I have had around 100,000 miles good luck w/ 10 bolts so I am not worried about them. When it breaks, it breaks and that will mean a time for an upgrade.

    I like Craftsman for 90% of my tools. The 12 points always fail, and that is why I only buy Snap-on 12 points.

    Just wish I had followed my instincts and started saving/preparing for mine when I thought it was going.. but everyone kept telling me that it couldn't be the rear... then BANG.. hmm.. guess it was the rear...

    they fail? The bolts or the sockets? And if they are that bad... should I go through the hassle of retyrning it for hex head??

    The sockets fail. I would not want 12 point bolts. They are too easy to F-up, and with the tight clearances for axcess to some spots on an LT1, it might make it worse.
