    600 - 650 n/a would be fine with a big cam... but the cam would have to be smaller for the turbo... the turbo would have to be big... and you'd probably have to run solid rockers whick means constantly tightening the rockers to make sure they have no lash...

    Bob at EPP is THE ticket when it comes to forced induction LS1's

    (you're right) 600-650 with a forged bottom end shouldn't be a problem

    It's a bigger CI motor incase you missed the stroker part.

    I think he was just sayin' his peace about the cam and valve train since when you go with forced induction you can have issues with the exhaust and intake valve being open at the same time for a fraction of a second....

    Yes I have already talked about a big turbo cause it's going to be a big ci motor. Probably going with an 87mm turbo

    Nope. I didn't even know my BF was building this monster til yesterday. I was under the impression he was going heads/cam on my current LS1 but apparently I was a little wrong since he has an LS2 or other block for the car. I am not sure of what exactly is there. He slipped at dinner and mentioned a 6.0L block

    97mm... that might get you to that 1000hp mark...
