    *** Not a boat but it's January 2018 TRAIN ***

We seem to be having our 1 week of winter early this year.

Day temps in low 30's and overnight for the next 2 days in the low 20's

Yeah but I expect that when you're close to Canada, not the Gulf of Mexico....

It was 6 here this morning when i had to run over to the GF house and jump her car again this week. Do believe the extreme cold has killed that battery.

Well, that's the one good thing about CA. Tomorrow it'll be a little cloudy with a high of 75

Cold as hell here too. Hasn't been above freezing since Xmas Eve and single digits to negatives at night. Highs have been low to mid teens. I'm over this shit. Muzzy season opens Saturday.....-7 at dawn and a high of 12. It'll be a heavy coveralls day for me.

Hopefully this early cold will mean less cold in February/March.... or maybe I'm just looking for the silver lining.

I'm fine with all of them really.... until it starts to be in the negatives and windy everyday. I've never hit a woman in anger but those are the times I really want to throat punch mother nature.

I had PRK Laser eye surgery in 2004. Had 20/10 left & 20/15 right. 13 yrs later I had to start wearing glasses for driving. Pissed me off. They told me it could happen when I reached my mid 40's. Hopefully it doesn't change anymore. I can't help but to wonder if this was one of those side effects to having stomach surgery in 2016.

My wife had it done in 2010 or 11. Came out with 20/15 in both eyes. She had to go yesterday to get prescribed glasses for night driving, as corrective surgery doesn't fix night blindness and hers is becoming dangerously unbearable. They said her vision now is still the same though, but she's only 32.

Because of my MS, no one will do lasik on my eyes. No guarantees. I enjoyed 20/20 vision all my life until my first bad exacerbation that put me in the hospital for over a week for a battery of tests and an MS diagnosis. It started in my left eye about a year after that episode and now I have to wear glasses. I hate wearing glasses. Wet dog noses and glasses don't go well together...

I would love to be able to have lasik eye surgery.
