Starting my Superbowl weekend practice drinking this weekend. Broke in the new garage heater last night with about 12 beers....gonna do it again tonight. Muzzy season opened today....had thoughts of stepping out back and getting a doe this afternoon but I may wait. Not sure I want to dick with it. Rather do it on Monday if I do it at all. Just haven't really felt like shooting another one this year. I have a ton out there....get about 100 pics every 2 days on trail camera.

Had to bury my big dog over the weekend. He lived a long life for an English Mastiff at 13, but man I wasn't ready

Know the feeling. Had to do my GS 5 yrs ago. She lived a very, very long life. 14+ years. It took us another year before we were ready to get another one.
Over the 1st had my 2nd & youngest GS spaded.

You're never ready for that day. At least with your own. There's a lot of dogs I've met over the years that I wouldn't mind speedin' up the process.

Would you like a St Bernard? I can't wait until this big bastard is gone. 6-10 is their average like span. He's 8 so right in the sweet spot. I'll probably have the one that sets some kind of life span record. Good dog generally...just huge and has some annoying habits.

Ha! No thanks, my old dog had bad habits of his own. Any trash bag/can out of my sight was fair game for him. GREAT dog, listened to nearly every command, never could get him out of that mentality though. Bastard shit a whole corn cob one time after dumpster diving, he was in a lot of pain. I told him he deserved it, I like to think he understood what I said.
Hope you get to feeling better, Zack.Last edited by Y2KArcticSS; 01-09-2019 at 08:21 AM.
