    Agrees, I drove a friends 95... The interior is so much nicer then mind, less cheap feeling. Plus 6-Speed,

    Advanced alignment course #1. Then, next week advanced alignment course #2 and TPMS installations and repair. My manager has a management meeting. This will be at the corporate headquarters. My manager is an old buddy of mine of 12 years. Corporate's gonna LOVE us.

    Never would have guessed that one. Thank goodness none of our cars utilize that system. My tire pressure monitor has a hose and a gauge!

    Tell me about it. I have had customers come in with leaks and the sensor is split. We have to order the sensor from the dealer and wait days. This way we can do things in-house and get the customer on their way in little time.

    With TPMS sensors, the caps seize on them causing the sensor to break upon removal of the cap, or the customer rubs up against a curb...HARD, and breaks the sensor off causing an immediate flat. The more technology advances, the more ish to go wrong IMO. I'm glad my GTO doesn't have TPMS sensors.

    The tpms's in our nissans randomly show low pressure, especially in the cold. You check it manually and they're at 33 pounds like they should be..

    Yup. But I will admit, they relearn as you drive. Some sensors you have to go through hell and back to get them to relearn. Take GMs sensors. I think until 08 you had to deflate the tires and you had to do it in a pattern. Start with the driver front and go around the vehicle in a clockwise pattern and end with the driver's rear. Takes too much damn time. The current TPMS-equipped vehicles reset upon startup. THANK GOD!!!

    Hey Carpy...I asked my manager about the ETAP certification. He told me there is a way to bypass the ASE exam to get it. I told him to keep me in the loop for anymore info on that.

    In PA we just take a course for safety and one for emissions. For emissions repair you can bypass the class with certain ASEs and or factory training

    Yah. I can't remember what ASEs but he mentioned an L9 and another certification, which I cannot remember at the moment.
