Could hit the brakes and grind up against the free way wall instead of calling 911

yeah... but breaks will fade... the wall could have cause a spin out or popped a tire making for a worse situation... to many variables for a situation like that...

Ok. But out of all the options, what did calling 911 and slamming into something accomplish

My roommate in the bedroom next to me (and who I share a bathroom with) is some quiet weird emo kid. Anyway, his girlfriend lives with him in that small bedroom, and is also quiet and not talkative, but she's a bitch (leaving post-it notes around saying stuff like "you guys need to clean up after yourselves" etc). I never see them though (sometimes hear them leave early in the morning and get back late at night, dunno wtf they do).

Anyway the past couple days there's been this red towel on the floor infront of the shower/toilet, neatly laid out to step on after getting out of the shower.

I go to take a piss today, still wearing sneakers from class. Coming out of the bathroom she's surprisingly not absent and notices me. She goes on to say more words to me than shes said over the course of the 7months they've been living here:

her: "Hey, don't step on the towel with shoes on"
me: "don't leave it on the floor"
her: "it's to keep the floor dry"
me: "the floor gets wet because you either don't know how to use a shower curtain or don't dry yourself before getting out of the shower. After I shower and get out, the floor is always dry. I wear shoes because I don't want to get my bare feet or socks wet in the mess you leave."

She doesn't say anything and just walks back into the bedroom without saying anything.

I'm usually a really cordial guy with everyone, but I just got pissed at her bothering me over such a stupid thing. I don't know, maybe after that I might see less passive-aggressive post-it notes around the apartment.

i hate that shit. my bf's old roommate would do that (the only thing he'd do in attempt to keep clean) and you'd always leave the bathroom with soggy socks

I should. I mean I don't really care that she's there, I don't take the notes seriously, but I could do it for the lulz, I'm sure it's against the complexes' insurance or fire standards or something.

I actually had the same thing going last year, a boyfriend/girlfriend living together, except it was on the opposite side of the apartment, and it wasn't a problem at all. They were graduate students who came to study at my school from somewhere in South America. Probably the two nicest people I've ever met.

Yeah. The worst is when you grab a good book, go in the bathroom to take a nice relaxing shit, drop trou, sit down, reposition your feet and BAM soaked sock rageguy.jpg

When I was younger, I was shy, timid, scared of people, etc.

Currently I'm much more confident in myself, less patient with others, and not as concerned with what other people think of me.

It seems to be intensifying as I get older, so I can pretty much see myself being that grumpy old man yelling at kids
