What's even more funnier is that my friends say I type, talk and act white. I call my father "Straightlaced Tom" from the Boondocks animated series...just with a beard.

Looks like another nice day... time to wash some cars and maybe do a little painting outside. I finished the engine stand yesterday and my friend brought his Dart over. Swapping the 3.23's back into it and changing out the transmission (727) as he is planning a trip to Tennessee in 2 weeks and wants to have the car ready to go.

I know plenty in your area that are into muscle cars and metal. But stereo typing d.c. came into play

Washed the Trans Am, washed my truck and replaced the drive belt on the mower today. The mower was a complete PITA as the pulley will not come off the output shaft -- therefore I have to remove the engine to get the belt off and back on again.

Started work at 0659 and finished at 1600. Got slammed at work. Tires, snow swaps, oil changes, 2 alignments for me. From to 1615 all was good til a coworker showed up. He was scheduled to be off today for it is his birthday and RAGE GUY went ballistic. Screaming like a lunatic at all of us like we did something wrong. We all pulled our fair share of work today and when one of us celebrates their birthday, we get yelled at? NICE!! I told him that when I and my current manager worked for Sears Auto, we had our b-day off. He screamed at me as well. I don't think RAGE GUY will be with us for much longer. He was told a few months ago if he had one more violent outburst, he was done. Well, I think today was the last straw.

I did manage to put my 18s on though.

Also did plugs and wires on the wife's Stratus. That's an odd setup to say the least. The Dart has the new trans installed and we just have to button up the details -- looking forward to the "test ride" tomorrow. Will try to get some pics.

Nope. 2.4 SOHC -- it runs two coil packs that mount directly on top of cylinders No. 2 and No. 4 and they each have a direct connection to the plug beneath them. The 2 plug wires simply tie No. 1 to No. 4 and No. 2 to No. 3.

Should have seen the clowns at Autozone trying to figure out what to sell me. It took then a while, but they did get it right. I opened the box they brought out first and dumped it, finding only the two wires... turns out the direct plugs are sold separately. That had them stumped.

Been awake... just not home. Went and helped a friend move a '67 Cutlass from a storage unit this morning. Ended up with a few parts I need for our '70 once we got to his house.
