yeah, the loose chaff/dry grass was all blowin around and clogged up the radiator. I scraped it out and brought i home. I need to use a bigger tractor for this first mow because the field never had the hay taken off last summer.

I owned two of them -- a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD, and a 1995 Eagle Talon ESi. Both were actually real nice cars. I obviously preferred the '90 which was a whole lot of fun to drive.

I was lucky -- 70,000 miles on the '90 and 145,000 miles on the '95 with just routine maintenance, and one fuel pressure regulator.

Unless you dont mind having it sitting in the driveway or at the shop 75% of the time, then you dont want one. I have one now. Something breaks and has to be replaced on a monthly basis.

The 1G('90-'94) 4G63T engine's had a 6bolt main and were more reliable than the 7bolt 4G63Ts in the 2g('95-'99) DSMs. Many guys do 1G engine swaps in their 2Gs. But, being a DSM, it still has plenty of other things that like to break on it.

But when they run right, they really are a helluva lot of fun to drive.

    As defined by Urban Dictionary:

"Crankwalk - Movement of the crank out of stock specifications. All cranks have L to R movement, to some extent, but an excessive lateral crank movement has bad reprocussions, such as hitting/grinding/destroying the crank sensor. A "walking" crank necessitates an engine rebuild.

Any car can crankwalk, but Mitsubishi Eclipses, Plymouth Lasers, and Eagle Talons with a 7-bolt motor are notorious for this problem. No recall was ever released as the problem was said to be isolated to a bad batch of cranks, which represented a fraction of the produced cars. Various theories of why crankwalk occurs and what years are most suseptible exist, but none are proven. General consenus is poor oil flow is one cause, and later model years seem to suffer less.

Contrary to popular opinion, any car can crankwalk; Manual, auto, import, domestic, turbo, manual, racecar, beater. All have walked, and all have a chance of walking."
