SVT Lightning
i figured this would be a safe place to post this. i want to know what y'all think about the 99-04 lightnings give me some driving experinces,racing experiences and some opinions. i kinda want one...

i think they are badass trucks. And supercharged ford V8s show huge gains from simple mods. There is a guy on here ZAPFOOL! who has one. I think he has like 500hp. He is a good person to ask.

well u sees, i dont really know what i want, but i would like to know what kinda stuff you have left in the dust in the past. what kind of mods have you put on, and what would you do again or not. thanks

mods:
cold air intake
4 pound lower pulley
factory tech valve body
bassani mid pipes w/ high flow cats
bassani bx catback
hotchkis TVS
mail order tune from amazon racing
made 385 rwhp and 499 rwtq on 91 octane
best time of 13.089 @ 104 on street tires...so close
the only mustangs that keep up are the newer GTs, mach ones, cobras (99 and up), a stock to lightly modded ls1 f-body is a close race....., ls1 GTOs are easy...the ls2 gtos are close ....havent had an import or other truck come close and yes that includes an SRT 10

Yeah, which color should i get. i hear red is fast, but black is a close second

one last thing, how has your drive train held up. Brakes, Drive Shaft, Rear end, and suspension ect.

any year model have better motor? I remeber hearing some motors being relpaced in 99 or 2000.

thanks for the info, how does insurance compare to our ls1's. I pay about 365 every six months w/ a 1,000 deduct
