Floor Jacks
Alright guys, I need a little help. The floor jack that I have is weak!!!!!!! Not a very high lift range, plus it is just crap. I bought it at AutoZone and it was the worse thing I've spent $100 on. I bought the aluminum low profile jack, but it has turned out to be worthless. I had a great one that I got from my grandfather, but it was so old that it finally crapped out on me and no longer works. In essence I'm looking for a good 3-4 ton floor jack that has a lift range of 20" +. What do you guys have, how much did you pay and where did you get it?

Pick up the Sears low profile. It's great.

I bought a low profile sears jack a couple years ago and although I haven't had any problems out of it I wish I would've bought a different one. The lift range sucks on it and it's not low enough to get under the center of the cars without using a small second jack to raise the body up a little bit.
I bought this one. I haven't had the issues that the people in the reviews had but my next jack will be a regular 2 ton standard height jack. My buddy bought a craftsman 2 ton at Sam's club or some place like that for half of what I paid and it's twice the jack.Last edited by 0rion; 02-09-2009 at 10:10 AM.

I have a jack that I bought at Sams club, can't remember the brand, it's out in the barn. I know it has a 24" lift though. It's great to get the car way up when you have to work under it. Sumbitch weighs about a hundred pounds though...

I still have to get my Craftsman jack. I have been thinking this over and over for when I swap my wheels for the season. Right now, my 18s are at my job in storage, but, I don't know if my boss will complain for whatever reason.

I have bought a couple from Napa that have lasted and worked great. A couple friends have bought this one from Summit also with NO issues.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!! Thanks guys!!!! I really thought I'd get a couple of opinions, but ya'll provide some decent jacks for me to consider. I'm likin' the Sam's Club jack with a 24" lift range; That's what I'm talkin' about!!!! I think mine only goes upt to 16", so it is a biatch to get the GOAT onto jack stands so I can work underneath. Again, thanks, ya'll rock on this site!!! I'm always impressed with the posts I've recieved to my threads!!!!
