My classic bird
I just bought my arctic white 98 T/A, and I love it, but I am also a member of performance years, (classic pontiac) here is the other bird I have in the garage, its a 69 originally a 350 car, but I have brought it a long way, I have a solid roller 462, with ported Iron heads,9.7.1 and all the good parts to go on it, Hooker supercomp headers, H-pipe with flowmaster american thunder exhaust, a turbo 400 with ptc 3200 converter, I got a 3.42 posi in it, ran a 7.36 @97mph 1/8 mile on the motor in october and down to a 6.82 on a 180 shot of spray. Its a good old hard working car, I am real proud of it, But it is no good for any kind of trip, perfectly streetable runs on pump gas, but only gets 6-7 miles per gallon. Thats why I got the 98, T-tops air condition sweet stereo and 25 miles per gallon. But it will never turn the heads like my 69, it will also never hit the top end of my 98, If it ever stops raining I will post a timewarp pic of the two side by side, 30 years of engineering.

My member name is RARON455 the same as it is here, Close guess on the bike but its not a ZX-11 It will eat one of those alive, I have a 1998 Honda cbr1100xx blackbird, which by the way to everyone is for sale 5500 on cycletrader. I wouldnt say spoiled, just blessed, I have a good job and a wife who works, where I come out ahead is I have 0kids, just me and the ole lady who also happens to love pontiacs, I had to agree to sell the bike to get the 98 trans am I feel it was a very good agreement.
link to the bike price says 5K but is wrong price is supposed to be 5500

Also thanks for the kind words on my 69 I appreciate it, alot of time blood and money went into it, I wish I had a dollar for everytime my wife said "we dont have the money" but as every gearhead knows thats the unavoidable fact of this hobby.
But there are worse hobbies

nice to see other guys with the old and the new also, I love both of mine but they are two completely different beasts, My 69 is raw power that draws attention just idling, My 98 is a tight comfortable ride that is is the result of 30 years advancement in engineering.
one thing for sure I will only pontiac firebirds, there is not another car out there that looks as good, Nothing makes people look ignorant like when they tell me man that sure is a nice camaro AAAAHHHH!!!

Here are a couple of my 68' and 99'. The green car is the same car before paint. The pic where it is blue has stock wheels on for painting. I'll post more as I progress!
