advice for swapping in an LS1
I am gonna be pickin up an LS1 with t56 to put into my 78 camaro. what difficulties can I expect and how difficult will it be? I want to get it in run it a year then see how to fit up a twin turbo setup. Anyone done any such frankensteining??

It has been done a lot. I haven't read up on it much but I know you have to convert to a hydrollic clutch setup and obviously you want the computer harness and computer. You may have to use some new gauges too that the computer can communicate to. You won't have to re-invent the wheel as many have gone through this before so it shouldn't be too bad once you get the info you need.

might wanna look into GMPP or EDELBROCK performer RPM carb'd manifolds if you don't want to mess w/ computer. both manifolds flow well. other than that, everything else you should be able to find from a conversion kit, or make your own relatively easy out of some tubing.
