    350 build, need advice

    I'm looking to add some oomph to the 350 in my nova with a new cam. I've already got long tube headers, performer intake and holley 660 4barrel carb. I was thinking about putting in Comp Cams High Energy 260 cam http://store.summitracing.com/partde...2&autoview=sku

    I wanna use the stock valve springs on the heads now, would this be a good choice?

    Auto or manual? and getting the heads ported possibly milled or thinner gasket would really wake it up then you might as well do the springs they are listed for the cam application

    i wouldnt use the stock springs,....go the extra step and so the aftermarket springs or the whole head set up....worth it in the long run....

    Yea i decided tonight to just take the heads off and do the springs. What's stock compressed height for the head gaskets?

    If you have a compressor you can change the springs with the heads on.
