rust- 65 Impala SS Convertible
1965 Impala B Body LS conversion
I am in the process of mocking up for my LS install.
I bought a set of the universal mounts like are common on fleabay.
I am unsure which way to orient the brackets. Should I use the front or rear set of holes on the block? Also, should I put the original mounts to the front or rear of the car?
Thanks for any input.
I had a 283 and a powerglide. I put a LT1 in it with a 4l60e. I moved the transmission mount and all was well.
I am trying to have stuff in the correct place so I can just swing and be good.
Thanks in advance.

We now know it is the front set. So goes my life.
Now the next problem....
The bracket will not mount on the drivers side. I either need to grind off of the block or off of the bracket. Area of problem is where the accessories mount to the top of the block.
The stock oil pan will not work either, but it is close, check out the center link for the steering....

Unless my eye are missing something, the 1965 B body is not listed.
