Will this work or am I screwed!!!
Set up in sig plus I have some LS6 heads with Comp 918 springs. The springs are rated at .600 lift. I was going to go TSP 228R but am getting greedy and am now thinking the Torquer V2 which is .595/.598 lift. I know numbers wise it will work, but don't want to be going through springs every year. Will these springs hold up to the V2.

I've did plenty of searching and found good info but want to know about reliablitly (spell?) Numbers wise they should work no problem. I know PRC duals are the safer way to go but will rob some power and cause more wear on valvetrain parts. I just don't want to be overloading the poor 918's and have a issue a week down the road. Anyone care to chime in thats running the setup I was thinking or should I stick with the 228R.

The 918's are now rated for .625 lift !!!
I've been running them for quite a while, and never had issues with them. With my 1.8 rockers, I'm just over the .600 lift, & I'm shifting at 7000 all the time at the track, so I say you are good to go !!!

Part number 26918 are suppose to be rated at .625.
Depends on how old your springs are. Dont thin kthey were always rated at .625

Fuckin awesome I just ordered them last week, part number 26918. I didn't know they were upgraded to .625 lift. Looks like the greed for power got to me. Goodbye 228R and hello Torquer V2
Thanks for all the input guys, appreciate it.

What ever happened to your heads? Were they junk or could they mill them within the clearences you needed?

Still waiting on them, at the machinist as we speak. They tested fine, and the main man said he didn't think they needed more then a clean up mill. Going to call them when they open in a hour and should know everything.
