I've found several chassis dynos in mich. 2 specielize in ford 4.2 mustangs. I found one in Grand Rapids. They seem geared toward chevy but not limited. I have'nt made any contact with them yet.

Livernois Motorsport just outside of Detroit. They are primarily a Mustang shop, but have quite a bit to offer for the LS1 too.

x2..those boys know what they are doing when it comes to csb....they are the ones building the engines for the c6.RS (sp) dont know if thats the right abbreviation for the pratt and miller c6s that are being worked over for street use.

i believe they are expensive though.

what pisses me off about the rs..is that they add 80 pounds of sound deafening..i'm sorry but if i want a car like that...i would request for them to not put the deadening shit in.

I've been thinking ways to get more hp for less money and include some chassis work also.

I've been shooting for a 5 grand budget. but more than likely I will be looking at about three grand. the heads cam exhaust and tune at livernois is 5000+ and will offer an unclaimed amount of hp. I've read several threads that show over a 100hp for the combo.

my thought is to port and polish ls1 heads, find a cam to match, headers, ory and tune. I think I can get all that done for around $3000.

that would leave money for gears shocks and spring.

Why not do it yourself? I know that at first, it seems like a huge challenge, but with the right tools, manuals, and help for these boards, you might be surprised how much of the work you can do yourself. If you think that you will be interested in more mods in the future, doing it yourself can be a big money saver. I know that the parts cost plenty already, but the labor cost about as much.
