    Whats the deal with the SLP ZL402?

    Whats up with the SLP LS2 402" crate motor.. I've been hearing alot of bad things about it, but havent found any threads with actual experience with one? What causes these engines to fail?

    My guess would be the price tag. They're mostly using Eagle and Ross components. You can buy those individually. You can equalize the weight of your pistons and control rods yourself with a precision scale and hand the bob-weight over to a machine shop for the finish.
